::Great view, very peaceful, convenient equipment and the staff is extremely helpful and welcoming! We really loved the rafting experience with our children. Highly recommended!

::Beautiful campsite, restaurant and adventure activities provider (rafting, ziplining) near old Tara Bridge with absolutely breath-taking unforgettable views of the surrounding nature and the river valley. There are multiple accommodation options (RV or tent camping, micro-cabins, normal and larger cabins). The micro-cabins are basically a tent size, just enveloping the king mattress (~2 people) with little windows and a storage shelf right above the small entry doors. With the price of about 13€/person this is a no-brainer, especially if you're dragging a tent and there's a danger it could rain at night and you need to keep your gear dry for the next day. Keep in mind the camp's Wi-Fi may not reach all the way to the cabins on the side. The owner and his staff are very friendly and always helpful. There's enough space to park and you can get a meal or a draft beer at the restaurant (however, expect above average prices). I'll miss this place and hope to get back one day!

::Step into this premises with an open travel attitude. Things are possibly not polished and smoothly arranged but it's an awesome place to stay. At night you have amazing skies, it's relaxed, calm, nice foods and beers, staff is friendly and they facilitate great trips on the river Tara! Go! It won't disappoint.

::The owner is really nice and relaxed. We stayed in a sweet cabin. The bathrooms are currently in renovation, so they were in a bit of a mess and the water was cold. No toiletpaper (yet?) but you can use the toilets of the restaurant. The bathrooms are hosed daily. Despite the bathrooms, the friendly and relaxed atmosphere made our stay very comfortable and the place gets five stars!

::We were extremely disappointed with our rafting experience. The entire thing (12km half day rafting) differed between boring and unpleasant. There were about 60 people and we were pushed through the line like cattle to get your equipment, which somehow still took over half an hour. (this after the process only started at 10.30, despite us being told we should arrive at 9.45) Then you stood around waiting to be told who to go with to get to the beginning spot - ended up getting on a random van and joining one of the rafts when we got there, as no one seemed to have any plan and the guides couldn't have been less interested. This was all a bit annoying but would have been fine had the experience itself been enjoyable. However it was RIDICULOUS - the raft leader couldn't have been less enthusiastic and gave random instructions the whole time - "everybody paddle" was followed every 2 seconds by "stop, STOP!". Almost comical if we hadn't paid 45€.The river is also extremely calm in August so this isn't white water rafting at all but merely floating down the steam - not their fault, but would have been nice to know. The leaders put no effort into making it an enjoyable ride, instead they seemed to have to make sure it lasted the full 2 hours, so half the time we weren't even allowed to paddle and just floated. There were also 2 "breaks" where all 10 rafts stopped at a random spot where there was no room to sit or anything for "swimming and photos", each of which took 20 minutes. The disorganisation, terrible leadership and boring, drawn out ride were extremely disappointing and left us with a sour taste in our mouths. On top of this lunch was below average and very lackluster. I definitely would not recommend this place and can only hope other Tara rafting companies do a better job! If you do do the rafting, some tips as we were given no information whatsoever - it's not a problem to take sunscreen and water with you as it's a long ride with lots of sun. There are also waterproof bags if you want to take your phone, otherwise you leave your stuff on the bus and it will be brought to you at the end. Don't end up burnt and half dehydrated like we did!
