  Truly a local experience! If you want taste local fish, meats, veggies, and try rakija while over looking the Tara River, this is an awesome place. You can raft, go on excursions, sleep in cottages a few minutes north of the rest, and party in the evening along local music. Balkan ppl are loud, energetic, and hospitable. This place is not for everybody and hence some of the negative reviews. It is clear these ppl do not know how to enjoy the Balkan experience.

  The lady who cooks is the best. The food is tasty and she's quiet. We went there tired to enjoy the view, unfortunately this restaurant is smelly, full of smoke and super noisy. There had only been 5 people there speaking to someone on the phone and raising voices 3x louder than needed. No way to enjoy next to them.

  Rafting at Bato is not only the best rafting on the Tara River, but also the most delicious food, the best organization and hospitality! My wife and I have been rafting with Bato for four years in a row. Positive emotions and memories are enough for a year. If you want to raft down the river, admire the fabulous beauties of nature that make you hold your breath, eat delicious national cuisine and drink Vine - you only have to Bato! He is the best! P.S. Last year we didn't manage to get to Bato, we rafted with its neighbors (TaraRaft Coridor X). Complete disappointment :(
