::We stayed there from 8-12 September. First issue (granted it was out of control) - the bar next door had a pianist playing from hours of 8pm-1am to the point where it was not possible to sleep. Considering the price of beach front rooms, this made it unenjoyable. Second issue is that we became violently sick on our final night. When we went to get fresh bedding and towels at 2 am the next morning, one of the hotel staff informed us that there had been a town-wide stomach bug owing to a problem with the water, and that many other hotel guests were suffering from the same issue. He informed us that the hotel had known of this problem since the morning of 11 September. When we complained to the hotel staff as we checked out on 12 September, the front of house was quite shocked and expressed that this was the first he had heard of the problem. We subsequently requested compensation from the hotel over email, but after explaining that we should have asked when we were at the hotel, they have since been ignoring our emails. For the price that we paid, very poor public health awareness and service.

::This is one of the most beautiful hotels in Montenegro. Staff is very friendly and taking care of every single detail. Always more than happy to assist you and to make your stay even more pleasant. We were traveling with our 4 year old child and they were all the time offering to prepare something for her to eat if she didn’t want to eat from the buffet (which was great). Starting your day with breakfast next to the see is priceless. Hotel is very clean which is the most important to us. Private beach is a plus of course. From the first to the last, every single person in this hotel is ready to help you. Their a la carte restaurant is amazing and you can enjoy great fresh prepared meals and great wine from their own winery. So to conclude, this was our first time here but we will definitely come back and recommend this lovely hotel to our friends.

::I’m surprised by the bad reviews given by other guests. We had a really nice experience during our stay here. Beautiful hotel on the sea front. Good value for money. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection for people with different dietary requirements. I really enjoyed sitting by the sea to have my breakfast. Staff always friendly and courteous. Cleaning staff ensured bin was empty, toilet roll restocked and with fresh towels everyday. The hotel has its own private beach sectioned off with free sun beds, parasols and beach towels on request. Other parts of the beach were charging 20e for this. However it doesn’t have its own pool but that’s clear at time of booking. Would I return to petrovac? It’s a bit too quiet for me with not much to do. However there are daily excursions available from petrovac. However, if you’re quite happy to sit on the beach and read all day then it’s perfect!

::Hotel is nice. However be attentive at the restaurant. They bring you bread with local butter as a compliment from chef but then they charge you for it even if you didn’t eat these. In my opinion it’s scum. Good business don’t do so.

::What a fantastic find! My husband and I chose this hotel for the last part of our honeymoon and it was the best decision. From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs - that's just how the staff treat every single guest. Warm, caring, and very helpful. No matter what we asked for, we never heard a "no" - instead, the hotel team aimed to make the stay as pleasant as possible. There was a handwritten welcome note for us with a bottle of chilled champagne waiting in the room and the hotel also gave us a day of free rental of lounge chairs on the private hotel beach. This boutique hotel really should be a 5*! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds, pillows, shower... great breakfast with an awesome variety of food, including gluten-free options. We took a room with a balcony looking out on the sea - really great choice! We also ate one of our lunches and one of our dinners in the hotel restaurant and it was worth every penny! (And hotel guests get 10% off a la carte menu). Given how incredibly crowded the beach area gets, the private hotel beach was excellent. You can reserve your lounge chairs (a pair with an umbrella is 10 Euro/day, which is half the price of that on the overcrowded public beach). Honestly, our only regret was not spending more time there. We would recommend it 200% to anyone and we hope to return again soon!
