  Kotor is a little and cosy town, beautiful especially for its scenery and location in the most Southern fiord. The road on the coast to and from Kotor gives you spectacular views, as well as the high points in the medieval citadel uphill or in the old town center. Beautiful orthodox churches - one very old with ecumenic tradition, the other one large and beautiful inside, nice restaurants, palm trees and exotic flowers. You shouldn't have big expectations from a small town, it offers enough for its size.

  Beautiful place, and the guy with a house on the kotor trail has the best homemade cheese in the world

  Pretty tower you should visit. Though the old city part is not big but you should spend time walking up to get the whole view of the place. It is very pretty; however beware of the crowd esp when there are cruises. Some got pickpocket here. If you pan to walk up the wall, ensure you have around 2 hours so you can appreciate the whole thing.

  One of the things you should visit once in a lifetime. Amazing what they built there and amazing view of the bay from up there. If you are going uphill to the fortress in high season I will recommend to start climbing early in the morning and bring water with you, otherwise the heat of the day will get you :-)
