  Wish I could give this place minus 5! They are thieves and robbers! Their ATM swallowed a card due to a technical error of their machine, and refused to return my card to me even when they had it! I had ID, my online banking login, my bank on the phone and evidence of my live chat with the bank, still this was not enough for them to return my card. Happened during my first day jn the country and have totally ruined my vacation here. My only regret was not phoning the police about them

  never ending kafka the first bank I see that's totally NOT interested in attracting more clients and money. I'm a foreign citizen but I'm working here in Montenegro - I got my work/residence permit, they say bring us you job contract. ok here's my job contract - signed, stamped. no, they say, now we want your bills from your home country. ah, and also this form for your local employer to fill. then come back and we'll think something else to decline you. and these are some new rules 'cos my colleagues opened accounts in Hipotekarna like a week before and they didn't ask for home country bills or additional forms - work permit and signed contract were enough (as it should be) not to mention that each time there's a huge waiting line, so you not only waste your nerves but your time. the very same day - after spending an hour in line here to be declined again - I went to another bank (Austrian one) couple of streets away and got my account no problem.
