Such a great place in nature. Fresh air, delicious foods, traditional wood houses. You should go there and stay 1 night at least

Nice place but very touristy. We came gere because our german guidebook said that they male their own cheese and they are happy to explain how you do it. This was unfortunately false information. The rooms were nice but not propperly cleaned. We had a lot of dead insects on the floor. People were very nice and friendly though!

Very nice place to stay and eat. Very basic wooden huts. We had no light and no electricity in the hut. So bring a head light. There is a place to charge phone etc. Sometimes the dogs bark a bit to much, but all in all we would come back.

Situated in a bit of a valley, the eco village offers great views, stars on a clear night, friendly hosts, clean rooms, and fantastic food (the donuts are excellent - must try). Absolutely peaceful at night and was a great stay while day hiking in the area.

It doesn't get much better than this if you want to get away from it all. Solar powered showers and lighting but otherwise very lo-tech. Log burners in the cabins and open fires in the eating shelters for cold nights. We stayed for one night in July, with 2 teenage boys, and got up early for the sunrise. The only sound was that of cows grazing in the meadows. Beautiful. One of the younger lads in the family that runs the site spoke good English so all our needs were met. The food was plentiful. They have been building more huts recently so it's a bit more crowded than some of the photos might suggest but it's a lovely spot if you want to do some hiking in the hills around. I really want to go back. We were part of a small tour in a minibus and we parked our minibus at the bottom of the mountain to use their bus to drive the unsealed roads up to the site. I'd been thinking that I wouldn't want to drive up there myself but then met another English family (staying for a week) that had driven up in their shiny hired convertible car! So don't be put off the drive. Just take it nice and slow.
